KAS Billings OK

We finally made it to Cologne. After a fun couple of days at base camp. We explored the city today and it rained on and off but it was really nice over all. It looks like it will be a fun filled week and I am really looking forward to it. Please keep the prayers up and love all of you.

We made it to the city! It was a really long day... I did not get sleep much on the plane! We went to visit the big church called the dom and travelled around the city to get ourselves familiar. It rained on us some and we saw a hard rock cafe and lots of starbucks. imagine that! Until next time... love ya

Today our group branched out to explore and get to know the city of Cologne. We were all very tired because we haven't slept in well over 14 hours. We got to know about the train schedules and where we would be stationed at while building relationships.

SS - Hobart, OK

We got to Cologne at about 8:00am, which is 1:00am in OK. They kept us up and we went around the city and tried to find our way. We also went to this huge chapel and we climbed 502 stairs to the top. We all have been awake for close to 28 hours!

Today was awesome. I got to see all sorts of new culture. The best part of the day was going to the Cathederal and was the cold roomin Globetrotters store.

Hmmmm..... Well, the airline breakfast had no taste. Did some prayin' on the plane up here. The plane ride was LONG! We landed in Frankfurt, thought we lost our luggage, finding out later that thoseof us riding a train to Cologne had our luggage, transfered to the train. After dealing with base camp, that was way exciting news. The first thing I thought as I set foot in Frankfurt was "Toto, we're not in Kansas anymore." It is different, really haven't had a chance to experience cultutre shock, but tomorrow that is goingto change. I've already got a story, that happened at DFW before we left, but ask me later about it!

Hey we got here safe and our first day has been a blast. I can't wait to see what God has in store for this group as a whole this week. Love you mom and dad!
