B.P. Lawton, OK

Everybody walksthere dogs here. Today we went and discovered the city. We rode on the subway a number of times. The city was not as clean as I thought it might be. The city is huge. Everybody walks everywhere. A lot of the men wear caprees. They also wear their hair ina different style. I feel like im in a big dream when I walked in Cologne. All or most of the cites streets and side walks are made up of stones.

Let me just start and say that I am so glad that I slept on the plane. Seeing everything today was thrilling. From the stamp in my passport to the rain after climbing over one thousand steps up and down the Kolner Dome. Being among the the people has been extraordinary. The base camp aka "boot camp", has fully prepared me to be flexible in any situation. Especially when my group left me at the WC. But I was okay and didn't panic...I was like gumbi, flexible. Ten minutes later I found some fellow Oklahomans. Church family and family -- please pray for all the people groups that we will encounter. I love you all.

As soon as we arrived in Cologne, Germany, we got the chance to hit the streets! We traveled around the city by foot and on the bus. Although I was very tired I enjoyed my time learning about the city and experiencing the culture shock. I can't wait until tomorrow.
